Nook Tablet gets easy SD card root hack

The Kindle Fire may be the best selling 7 inch tablet, but the Nook Tablet has found an audience as well. Now, those looking for an easy way to get their $250 tablet running stock Android are in luck.

This new rooting method, introduced by xda-developers user Indirect, requires nothing more than throwing a few files onto an SD card and rebooting the Nook Tablet. This rooting hack works on Nook Tablet OS versions through 1.4.1, and delivers a stock Android experience, with Google apps and Android Market along for the ride.
